Christmas romance and redemption

You would think that the romantic-comedy would be a mainstay for production companies, but they have become an endangered species in modern cinema. Some of it can be blamed on Netflix and Hallmark who continue to put out poorly produced and written romances that have jaded audiences to the genre.
